We're glad to introduce Paul – our Parish Youth Coordinator – from New Zealand.
Paul and his fiancée met the seniors with Fr Kieron, and received a warm welcome – now he posts his blog on our new Youth pages:
"When I was growing up in Wellington New Zealand I would have never imagined that in my late twenty’s I would be living in the United Kingdom, working as the Youth Coordinator for the Parish of Chichester and soon to be married to a beautiful young woman called Emily.
But that’s been pretty much the picture as I look back on my journey with God being the central part of my life. Jesus has inspired me a lot through his youth ministry in the Church, to know and connect with so many teenagers and walk along side of them as they try place the pieces of the puzzle of life together has been a privilege and blessing.
So my heart is that the youth of this parish come to deeper understanding of God in their daily lives and that this parish supports them in every step of their journey and allows them to live their life to the full.
Someone that has inspired me was and still is Blessed Mother Teresa, she said: ‘We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great Love.
May you be blessed in all the small things that do for him and one another.
We're holding a Youth Meet and Greet on Sunday 21st November from 12.30 p.m. till 4.30p.m. It's for children from year 6 to sixth form of our Parish - come and meet me and other young people in the Parish Rooms - Lunch and refreshments will be waiting for you!"
